In China, technological progress meets party ideology: Baidu has introduced a specialized AI assistant for creating official documents in accordance with Communist Party guidelines. The new tool, named Xuexi Qiangguo Official Document Assistant, is integrated into the Ernie Bot platform and was developed in collaboration with the Xuexi Qiangguo application.

The system's main feature lies in its ability to operate with an extensive database that includes speeches by Chinese President Xi Jinping, government documents, and state media publications. All generated materials undergo thorough verification to ensure compliance with party directives.

Ernie Bot, which serves as the base platform for the new tool, has already established itself as a leader in China's generative AI market. The scale of adoption of such technologies in China is impressive: according to CNNIC data, approximately 230 million Chinese citizens regularly use artificial intelligence systems.

The implementation of such a tool reflects Chinese authorities' desire to modernize administrative work through modern technology. However, this decision has sparked mixed reactions: experts express concerns that excessive automation and strict control may negatively impact civil servants' creative potential and lead to over-standardization of document management.
